Original stories set in the world of iconic video games appear in this animated anthology series. Video games have made a huge leap to the silver screen and we are celebrating over 50 genres of video game adaptations into movies and shows. Clive Standen reprises his role as Demetrius Titus, the protagonist of the video game Space Marine 2. The episode takes place after the events of the game. Reference: Film Junk Podcast: Episode 973: Carry-On (2024). I have always wanted a series like this. Watching movie trailers or video game cutscenes, I often thought of what some would call the pinnacle of television. I knew the creators of Death in Love and Robots would make another animated anthology series, and I am glad to be proven right. The Warhammer episode was definitely the highlight for me so far, I really hope to see more in the future. My only complaint would be giving some episodes more time. There are so many solid video game stories that this show can delve into and adapt, the possibilities are very exciting and I’m happy about it. Throughout, I’ve gone for a grittier, more adult tone. I’m very happy with what’s happened so far and I’m looking forward to what’s to come. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
